What is Family STEM Night?
Family STEM Night began as part of a senior capstone project for a bachelor's degree but it quickly grew into something much bigger. Our goal is to make it a recurring community event that brings families together to explore the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and math in a fun, hands-on way that kids will love.
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. These fields shape our future from building bridges and writing code to exploring space and discovering new medicines. By introducing children to STEM early, we inspire curiosity, problem-solving, and creativity while showing families how learning can be both exciting and collaborative.
